The Collegiate Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity is the parish church of the Church of England in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England. The church is alos known as the Holy Trinity Church, Trinity Church and Shakespeare's Church.
The present church was built around 1210 on the site of a Saxon monastery on the banks of the River Avon and is Stratford-upon-Avon's oldest building. It is the most visited parish church in England with more than 200,000 visitors each year.
William Shakespeare was baptised in the Holy Trinity Church on 26 April 1564 and was buried there on 25 April 1616. His wife, Anne Hathaway is buried next to him as well as his eldest daughter, Susanna. It is said that Shakespeare's body is buried 20 feet deep to prevent its theft.
