The Wheel, Laxey, Isle of Man, England

The Laxey Wheel is a large waterwheel in the village of Laxey on the Isle of Man in England. It was designed by Robert Casement and built in 1854 to pump water from the mineshafts.

It is the largest working waterwheel in the world and is also known as the Lady Isabella Wheel, named after the wife of Lieutenant Governor Hope who was the island's Governor at that time.
